Welcome to Tivaasi, a Persian bakery and café in Halifax bringing the authentic taste of Iran to Nova Scotia. We specialize in handcrafted Persian desserts, traditional sweets, fresh cakes, house-made halal sandwiches, iced blends, Persian teas, and herbal infusions all inspired by generations of Iranian flavour and hospitality.

Our menu is crafted using signature ingredients like premium saffron, pistachios, rosewater, and carefully selected flavours that make Persian desserts truly unique. From traditional favourites like Bastani and Faloodeh to fresh pastries, custom cakes, and our freshly prepared house-made Persian sandwiches, every item is made with quality, care, and authenticity. Served in our soft house-made Persian bread and prepared fresh daily, our sandwiches bring a unique homemade touch to the Tivaasi experience.

The name Tivaasi, meaning “because of you” in the Gilaki language, reflects everything we believe in creating a place built around community, connection, and the joy of sharing good food.
